By accessing and using MarkedUp ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.
2. Description of Service
MarkedUp provides AI-generated resume and professional portfolio feedback, saved analysis reports, and job listings. You can submit supported resume documents or portfolio URLs for analysis. Content is processed by external document-processing and AI providers as described in our Privacy Policy.
3. User Accounts
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. AI Feedback
AI feedback and scores can contain mistakes. Review suggestions before using them, and keep resume statements accurate. Analysis does not guarantee interviews, employment, or acceptance by an applicant tracking system. Job listings are supplied by external providers; check current details with the employer.
5. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Upload malicious code or content
- Share your account credentials with others
6. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of the resumes and portfolio content you submit. Submit only material you are authorized to share for processing. The application itself is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
7. Limitation of Liability
MarkedUp shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service, subject to applicable law.
8. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
